Hi!
In this article, I'll introduce you to how requests work and how you can easily manage them.
You'll see how you can change their statuses, edit, print and also preview the history of changes ⭐!
1. In the Admin panel in the Requests and approvals module, you will see a list of all types of applications that have already been created.
You will see the status of each of them, as well as the number of accepted, pending and rejected requests. Click on ··· button and select Show submitted requests from the drop-down list.
2. In the new view you will see a table with data:
- Employee,
- Date of application submission,
- Application status
- and the Manage requests column.
You can filter and search the data in the table. In the top bar there is also an Export to file button which allows us to export the entire list of submitted applications with their attachments.
There are also tabs above the table that allow you to view applications with a
specific status.
We can display applications:
- All,
- Waiting,
- Rejected,
- Considered,
- Cancelled
- Accepted.
3. In the Date of Submission column, using the History button, we can go directly to the history view of a particular application.
4. In the history of actions on the request, you will find what manager/administrator and when, took steps on the user's request.
5. In the details view, under the Proposal tab, we also have available options such as:
- Change application status,
- Edit application,
- Print the application.
6. In the Manage Application column, we have a number of options depending on the current status of the application.
For pending applications, we can select
- Acceptance,
- Reject,
- Cancel.
For accepted or rejected applications, we can choose the option
- Change Status,
- print PDF file.
7. After clicking the ··· button, you get an additional menu for a specific application, which allows us to:
- view application details (View Application),
- download a PDF file with the application for printing (Print Application),
- view the history of an application (View application history),
- change the status of an application (Change application status).
8. After selecting the Change application status option, a window will open where we can choose the following
- target application status,
- enter the reason for the status change,
- make a decision whether the user will be informed about the change of application status.
